Performance Flight Training, Management, & Charter

The delivery of the GE Aerospace T901 Improved Turbine Engines to the two finalists for the US Army’s Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft competition sets up Sikorsky and Bell to fly their prototype designs in 2024. Those factors are particularly important for simulated night flying and replicating certain speciality functions, such as operating a tanker boom. Discover our 50+ worldwide training locations and our wide selection of available aircraft platforms for training. Our Examiner courses will provide the competencies to run license skill tests , license proficiency checks and operator proficiency checks . Our Type Rating courses are composed of several modules that can be combined according to your operational and pilots’ needs and are fully CBTA integrated and compliant. They are available in all our Airbus Training Centres and some can be deployed at your facilities if you possess the required equipment.

Performance Flight is an acclaimed aircraft training & management center.

The AMAZE system also requires only about half the space of the F-35’s current projector simulator. “In that same 100,000 hours, I’d have to replace the projectors twice,” says Osterhout. He adds that each projector in the existing Lockheed simulators costs $50,000 to $60,000.

Get the best training in the best aircraft, with the most qualifications, and become an airline pilot on the fastest timeline – proven by 25,000 pilots since 1984. Provides ground and flight training to qualify pilots for a high performance aircraft logbook endorsement. Provides ground and flight training to qualify pilots for a conventional/tailwheel-type aircraft logbook endorsement. CFIs are some of the first people that student pilots are exposed to in the aviation training environment and in most cases are present throughout the training process. CFIs have the opportunity and responsibility to train new pilots to operate their aircraft safely and confidently during training and later in their careers as aviators.

During a simulated combat mission featuring F-35s flying low through a crisply rendered tropical canyon, he removed a roughly 20 x 20cm LED panel, replacing it with an identical spare. When a projector breaks or a bulb needs replacing, the simulator must be taken off-line for recalibration. With AMAZE, individual LED panels can be replaced using simple hand tools, without even needing to stop simulations.

For example, the Service’s Division of Migratory Bird Management conducts extensive overwater and offshore missions, and their aircrews carry specialized equipment known as emergency breathing devices. EBDs are essentially small SCUBA tanks that provide a source of emergency air when used properly. Training with these devices can currently only be obtained through commercial sources. These commercial vendors are able to instruct in the operation of certain equipment that exceeds Departmental requirements.

To support your Airbus pilots to obtain another Airbus aircraft rating, we propose our Cross-Crew Qualification or Difference courses. Your pilot will benefit from a high quality standard training on a shorter and adapted rating course. Ground School primarily given as a classroom lecture or lesson by a flight instructor where aeronautical theory is learned in preparation for the student’s written, oral, and flight pilot certification/licensing examinations. Her airline requires flight attendants to complete a six-month probationary period before they can submit a bid to transfer to a new base. Two flight attendants said their base reveal happened within the first three weeks of training.

Only ATP has the experience, resources, and airline relationships to take you from zero experience to airline pilot in the most efficient timeframe possible — proven by thousands of graduates now flying for regional and major airlines. Florida Tech offers a 3-course, 6-credit airline pilot training sequence that leads to a type rating in either the Airbus 320 or Boeing 737 . We are currently the only regionally accredited national university to offer large jet airliner type rating courses for academic credit that may be applied to a 4-year bachelor’s degree. Here, you can get a head start on the path to becoming a commercial airline pilot by earning a type rating before you graduate. This course provides all required simulator, flight training device and instruction to prepare for the FAA commercial pilot and type rating practical tests. Upon the successful completion of this course students will be awarded an FAA Type Rating.

During training, flight attendants learn safety protocols, practice emergency drills, and get familiar with airplane equipment. While training, flight attendants rank their preferred “base cities” where they’ll fly from. However, Etz notes the new technology could be applied to other flight simulators, including those for additional fighters, support aircraft like aerial refuellers and commercial passenger jets. Whether you’re just starting out learning to fly, or a seasoned veteran looking to learn the latest in technology and aircraft, Performance Flight has a training program to meet your needs. Provides ground and flight training in basic acrobatic flight maneuvers, recovery from unusual flight attitudes and familiarity with conventional landing-gear aircraft. Intermediate Aerobatic Flight continues on the initial training and introduces and develops basic aerobatic skills to enable students to perform complex aerobatic maneuvers.
